|

Recently, a 32-year-old man in Denton was accused of stabbing another person with scissors. According to the Denton Record-Chronicle, the 32-year-old man is a felon who was recently released from jail to serve probation.

The stabbing incident happened around two weeks after his release from jail. According to police, the 32-year-old man began yelling at and stabbing another man who was walking near McKinney Street and North Crawford Street.

The stabbing victim was reportedly stabbed multiple times in the neck, upper back, and head. Fortunately, none of the stab wounds were life threatening. The person who was stabbed told police that he had never seen the 32-year-old man in his life before he started yelling at and stabbing him.

The man accused of the stabbings was arrested, and the scissors he allegedly used were recovered from a nearby dumpster where he had reportedly discarded them after the stabbings. The 32-year-old man is facing a charge for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon because of the incident. As of this report, he was being held in jail on a $75,000 bond.

Prior to the stabbings, the 32-year-old man had been in jail after pleading guilty to felony drug possession and aggravated robbery. He had been sentenced to serve 10 years of probation following his conviction. He was released so he could begin serving his sentence before landing back behind bars because of this latest incident.
